Room-Temperature NO2 Gas Sensors Based on Granulated Carbon Nanofiber Material

Room-temperature gas sensors based on granulated carbon nanofiber material were investigated for the detection of NO2. The consisting intertwined nanofibers was synthesized by decomposition CH4 over Ni/Al2O3 catalyst in a vibro-fluidized bed reactor. Carbon using transmission electron microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, low-temperature nitrogen adsorption, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Investigation towards NO2 at room temperature (25 ± 2 °C) carried out dynamic flow-through setup range from 1 to 500 ppm. A comparison sensitivity sensor NH3 also given. non-treated showed response ?R/R0 5.1 % 10 ppm It found that decreased when increasing relative humidity. effect humidity more pronounced low concentrations dioxide decreases with further increase them.
